Colorado College 2017

A wonderful study-abroad program from Colorado College took place at the Athens Centre in September and October 2017. The faculty directors, Prof. Lisa Hughes and Prof. Barry Sarchett, created a new course this year, entitled «Movies, Monuments and Mythmaking”.

The students had their daily classes at the Athens Centre but they also traveled to other parts of Greece. They visited the island of Hydra and spent four days in the Argolis. They visited archaeological sites and museums and spent some time in the town of Nafplion.

Staying in Athens for a while gave them the opportunity to explore and discover the beauties of the Greek capital, interact with locals and learn about Greek society and culture.
