The cultural program at the Athens Centre includes literary evenings, guest lectures, theatre, concerts, poetry readings, film evenings, and book presentations.
The events are aimed at presenting Greece and things Greek, giving our audience an insight into Greek literary life, discussing contemporary and historical questions, introducing the artistic scene, or illuminating Greek society and politics. Guest speakers are internationally renowned scholars and experts in their fields. Cultural evenings also provide an opportunity to socialize after the event with the artists, guest lecturers and local and international visitors with a glass of wine in the garden courtyard.
In addition to cultural events at the Centre, gallery walks, visits to churches, exhibitions or museums in the city are frequently organized, as well as university tours, excursions to the mountains surrounding Athens, and culinary events such as wine tastings.
Most events are free and open to the public; to personally receive information and invitations to these events, you are welcome to leave your contact details below.
